In Loving Memory of our Former Member-John Louis Di Noto
10/23/2024 19:26Please read this special message from our longtime Pawling Pistol Club member and friend Nick Gioiella:
This is Nick Gioiella informing you of the passing of our former member, John Di Notto. He was a member back in the 90s to about 2000. He was also know as "Johnny Donuts" due to the fact that he had a bakery route in the Bronx and would bring donuts to the Wednesday night meeting for us to enjoy after we finished our shooting. During his time as a member, he was an exceptional shot. He would take 1st or 2nd place in any competion we held. He always helped out with our work parties and was alway wiling to help anyone. Johnny had a great sense of humor and was a true family man. He leaves behind a wife , son, and daughter. Johnny also loved to ride his motorcycle as often as he could. He was also a proud 1973 blue Stingray Corvette owner. If you go to the "Back In The Day-Vintage Pawlng Pistol Club" section on our website, you can see pictures of me with John in our yesteryear photos. They are pictures 2 and 3, and is the big guy with glasses and a light brown shirt. He will be missed by those members that knew him. May he rest in peace. Thank you for giving me the opportunity to write about this shooting buddy of mine.
